1. Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Ainswer (ainswer.app), an AI-visibility analytics service that measures whether AI answer engines mention or recommend a brand ("the Service").

1.1 The Service

Ainswer runs real buyer-style questions through third-party AI answer engines (such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude) and reports how a brand appears in those answers, including cited sources and competitor mentions.
Results reflect the live output of third-party AI systems at scan time. AI answers change constantly; we do not guarantee that any result is complete, permanent, or free of third-party model errors.
Ainswer provides measurement and guidance only. We do not manipulate AI systems, sell placement, or guarantee any change in how AI engines describe any brand.

1.2 Accounts & acceptable use

The free audit requires verifying ownership of a company email inbox. You may only audit brands you represent, or use the Service in a manner we have expressly permitted.
You agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, resell without permission, or attempt to bypass usage limits or verification.
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or generate abusive load.

1.3 Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment processing and applicable taxes.
Plan limits (tracked brands, scan depth, engines, scan frequency) are described on the pricing page and may evolve; material reductions will be communicated in advance.
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

1.4 Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ainswer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 What we collect

Account data: your email address (used for sign-in codes and receipts).
Brand data: the domains and brand names you ask us to scan, and the scan results we generate for you.
Usage data: basic logs needed to operate, secure, and rate-limit the Service.

2.2 What we do NOT do

We do not sell personal data.
We do not send marketing email without your consent.
We do not store payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

2.3 Processors we use

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the Service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database & authentication), Resend (transactional email), Lemon Squeezy (payments), and AI/search providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, DataForSEO) that process the buyer questions we generate. Brand-scan questions sent to AI providers never include your personal account data.

2.4 Your rights

Email hello@ainswer.app to access or delete your account data. We delete on request within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.

3. Refund Policy

14-day guarantee: if you are unhappy with your first subscription period, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
Renewals: renewal charges can be refunded if requested within 7 days of the charge and the period's scan quota has not been substantially used.
Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method.
To request a refund, email hello@ainswer.app from your account email with the receipt number.
